Things you should think of to plan your shoot.

1. How many hours of coverage do you need?
   As a general rule, bias your time up front for events such as weddings, mitzvahs, and parties. The early photos tend to be the ones you will like the most. The best thing to do is call me and I can ask the right questions and step through your day with you.
   Examples;
   A wedding with 12 in the wedding party with immediate family members, plus intimate single and couple photos takes a minimum of an hour for just formals if all goes perfectly. This does not allow for travel time between ceremony and event.
   Single and couples portrait sessions usually take about an hour once everything is ready to go or we arrive at a shoot location.
   For portraits, model sessions and other studio work, it is best to show up a half hour before the shoot to prepare yourself and talk with me about any ideas or last minute changes.
    

2. How big is your shoot?
   Do you need a personal portrait or do you have an event with thousands in attendance? To scale my services to fit your requirement I will need to know this and some additional information.
    

3. Have you planned or scheduled your time for photos?
   Like anything else, getting great photography takes time. ...even photojournalistic photography. As a general rule, it takes an average of two minutes per setting to take a formal picture. This is after everyone is ready for their photo session.
    

4. Have you selected your location for photos?
   I have a great studio for shooting that is available at any time. I also have great spots for outside shots. Location is crucial to great photos. For events, please take the time and find a great location. Please let us help with this as I might have some suggestions.
    

5. How many, what sizes and what kind of prints will you need?
   Knowing this helps us plan your shoot and set up my equipment. There are many print sizes and you can choose from. There are also different print finishes you should seriously consider. Please go here for specific sizes and finishes.
    

6. Do you want an album?   ...if so, what size and how many?
   The albums I offer are spectacular. I highly recommend a visit to my studio to see one. Albums range in size from 5x5 to 11x14 inches. The most popular size is 10x10. Your album will come with a number of pages included but more pages can be added as needed. Please go here for specific album options.

Every customer has unique requirements so I work with each one to create the perfect package for them. This does not mean you are going to pay a lot, it just means I want to make sure you only get the coverage and product you want.
My event package prices start at under $1,000 and portrait sessions are under $300. Please contact us so I can give you a great quote. If you include the information listed above I can get you a quote much faster.
