Preparing for your HS Senior Shoot

It is important that you prepare before doing to your photo shoot. Here are some strongly suggested guidelines to follow.
  1. State of mind
    Please reschedule your session if you have a bad day or you've been in a fight with your mom, dad, girl/boy friend. Your mood will show in your images and it's best for everyone if you come in a positive frame of mind.
  2. What you can expect at the session.
    We like to have fun with our customers and try different poses and styles of shooting. We do this to help improve our customer satisfaction. Be prepared  and try and relax.
    Our session tend to be more like modeling sessions in that you and the photographer will be moving around a lot.
  3. What to wear
    Don't wear bright colors
    Don't wear prints - wear solid colors
    Don't wear colors that blend with your skin tone.
    Wear colors that match or compliment your eye color
    Bring two to three changes of cloths. We have a private changing room.
  4. Ladies
    Don't forget to get your hair and makeup and nails done before the shoot.
    Don't wear neck lines that are too plunging. This distracts from your face.
    Short skirt can be problematic in some poses. Be sure to bring something else for those more relaxed poses.
    Don't forget matching shoes and sox for those full length shots
  5. Gentlemen
    Don't wear T-shirts under your shirt unless you are going for the grunge look.
    Baggy shorts can be problematic. (See short skirts for Ladies).

  6. Bring your props
    If you play an instrument, bring it. We can do some cool things with it.
    If you play a sport, bring your kit.  We can do some cool things with it.
    Some other examples are bicycles, cheerleading kit, skates, skis, skateboards, etc.
  7. Bring your tunes
    We have a sound system in our studio so bring your IPod with your favorite play list or CD with your favorite mix.

I am a Boston, Massachusetts photographer and wedding photojournalist who specializes in wedding photojournalism, documentary wedding photography, with a fashion style that captures in photos the true nature and character of any person or event. I enjoy shooting reportage wedding photography, senior portraits, Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah photography, children's and family portraiture and documentary with a fashion tone wedding photography not only in Boston but also in Rhode Island. It is my goal to provide you with high quality wedding photography created with the greatest level of professionalism that a wedding photographer can achieve in Boston, Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas. I have had the pleasure of photographing many different ethnic ceremonies.
